GOpus®eInvoice and e-Sign 4 - the ideal combination!

With the help of the SAP solution GOpus®eInvoice of our partner GOpus We enable companies to process electronic invoices in a wide variety of international formats easily and automatically, directly from within the SAP® system. In a second step, these e-invoices are digitally signed or encrypted.

Particularly in the context of legal requirements, such as those set out in the EU’s eIDAS Directive or (inter-)national e-invoicing regulations, the demands placed on the authenticity, integrity and confidentiality of electronic documents are increasing. The digital signature guarantees the authenticity of the invoice and verifies that it has not been altered, whilst encryption ensures a secure transmission channel and the mandatory protection of access (e.g. via a password or token-protected link) to ensure that unauthorised persons cannot access this sensitive data – particularly in the case of sensitive B2G or B2B communication channels.

e-Sign 4 and GOpus®eInvoice complement each other perfectly: they enable documents to be signed with a qualified electronic signature and offer flexible encryption options – integrated directly into SAP and without any disruption to the workflow. This means that outgoing invoices can not only be signed in accordance with standards (e.g. as an XRechnung or hybrid PDF), but also in compliance with legal requirements and transmitted securely. Invoices and other documents can likewise be sent in encrypted form directly from SAP processes.
