Changed requirements
Very often, the delivery note or consignment note is still used in its original form, as a sheet of paper. In addition to uncertainties such as loss, legibility and up-to-dateness, this also results in a media discontinuity. Delivery notes in paper form have to be printed, signed and scanned again in order to be archived electronically as part of the delivery file. This creates an unnecessary administrative burden.

High optimisation potential
The process described above offers considerable savings potential that can be realised through digitalisation - for both the classic delivery note and the consignment note. By using the e-Sign Agent with seamless integration into your ERP backend system - in many cases SAP - and in combination with a signature pad, the process can be mapped completely electronically. Using the latter, both the forwarder and your employees sign the electronic delivery note directly and digitally. This is generated in your ERP system as a PDF file and is automatically displayed in the e-Sign Agent.
Using Sign Pad, the required signatures are made directly in the document at the desired locations by the persons involved. In addition to the signature image, the biometric data (font size, speed and x/y coordinates) are stored in the document in encrypted form. The latter is also automatically digitally signed and is thus protected against subsequent, unwanted changes. The signed delivery note or consignment note can be sent to the carrier electronically or, if required, in printed form.
